Pennsylvania State Police were involved in a multi-county chase last night that ended just outside of Blairsville.
Troopers from the Kiski Barracks say they received a “Be on the lookout” notice from McKeesport police for a vehicle that was possibly involved in a drive-by shooting in McKeesport on Wednesday. The vehicle was seen in Monroeville and was going east on Route 22 at a high rate of speed. Police saw the car as it drove by the Simpson voting house. A pursuit was initiated and it crossed the border into Indiana County, but police ended the pursuit before entering Blairsville Borough as a safety precaution.
State police believe the vehicle may still be in the area. It was described only as an Audi A3. Anyone who has seen the vehicle is advised to call state police at 724-357-1960 for the Indiana station or 724-697-5780 for the Kiski Valley station.
