One person had suspected injuries in a crash that happened late Saturday morning in Burrell Township. State police say that at 11:55 on Saturday, a car driven by 38-year-old Ryan McDonough of Pittsburgh was going east on Route 22 near Snyder Lane when he lost control of his car due to the snow-covered roads. The car went across the median, into the westbound lane and collided with a vehicle driven by 47-uear-old Schelley Ebersole of Portage. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time. While Ebersole had possible injuries, she was not taken to a hospital. McDonough was charged in connection with the crash.
An Indiana woman was charged in connection with an incident involving pepper spray at a bar in Young Township last Thursday. Police were called out at 9:30 PM to Brewer’s Pub and Grub on McIntyre Road at 9:30 PM for the reported disturbance. Police discovered that the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Kristy Forberger of Indiana, went into the bar and discharged a pepper spray device in the building. No injuries were reported in the incident. Forberger is charged with disorderly conduct.
