At the Bo Wood Tournament over the weekend at Fifth Street Gym, Indiana placed third overall out of sixteen teams.
The Indians had three champions and one runner-up. Nico Fanella was 3-0 and finished first at 121 pounds. At 133, Tuscan Blystone finished first at 4-0. And at 172, Dominic Fanella took first place with a 4-0 record. At 127, Carter Putt was 2-1 and finished second. Hunter Willams was 3-2 and Jackson Higgins was 3-2 and was the winner of the fastest fall award, pinning his opponent in just seven seconds. Jacob Snyder was 2-2 and heavyweight Cash Allshouse was 2-2.
North Star finished first at the tournament, followed by Baldwin. River Valley was fifth and West Shamokin was 13th.
