The Steelers did their part to make the AFC playoffs on a miserable, rainy day in Baltimore yesterday. Now, they must wait to see if Tennessee can beat Jacksonville, or Miami can top Buffalo. If either the Jaguars or Bills lose, the Steelers are bound for the playoffs.
Najee Harris ran for 112 yards and a touchdown and Mason Rudolph completed 18 of 20 passes for 152 yards, the most important of which was a 71-yard touchdown hookup with Diontae Johnson on the first play of the fourth quarter, as the Steelers beat the Ravens, 17-10.
The win may have been costly. Linebacker TJ Watt left the game in the fourth quarter when his leg was struck by the falling body of 325 pound defensive lineman Montravious Adams. The preliminary diagnosis is a sprained MCL in the left knee. Watt left the game and did not return, and his status is uncertain.
The Steelers end the regular season with a 10-7 record and on a three-game winning streak since Rudolph took over as quarterback.
