Pennsylvania State Police have released more details on the string of thefts reported earlier this week.
Police are still looking into the thefts that started on Monday at 10 AM and went into Tuesday. Three incidents of burglary or attempted burglary and 11 incidents of theft from a motor vehicle were reported in that time span in Cherryhill, Rayne and White Townships. Among the items stolen were a penlight, a headlight, a Bluetooth speaker, a garage door opener, and a pocket knife out of cars along Airport Road in Cherryhill Township.
Police also report that they were called out to Allen Bridge Road in Cherryhill Township Tuesday morning as a homeowner was afraid to go into their own home because they believed someone was burglarizing it. Police were able to clear the building and found that no criminal activity had taken place.
The investigation is still going on in these cases, and police believe that the same person or group may have committed all the crimes in this spree. If you have any information, you can contact police at 724-357-1960.
