The Wolf Administration has announced that ahead of Memorial Day, they are easing some of the event size restrictions that have been in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
On Tuesday, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced that occupancy limits will be increased to 50 percent of maximum capacity for indoor events and 75 percent for outdoor events. That goes into effect Monday, May 17th. The update will not prevent municipalities, school districts, restaurants and venues from continuing and implementing their own stricter mitigation efforts.
The face covering mandate remains in effect for both indoor and outdoor gatherings for now. The Wolf Administration said that the face mask mandate will remain in effect until at least 70 percent of Pennsylvania’s population over the age of 18 is fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
