The IUP basketball teams return to action tonight hosting Shepherd in a doubleheader at the KCAC.
The IUP women are 7-2, 4-1 in the PSAC and are coming off a 73-52 win over East Stroudsburg on Saturday. Shepherd is 3-7 and 1-4 in the conference, and lost their last time out, 70-55 to Mercyhurst on Saturday.
Men’s coach Joe Lombardi will be shorthanded again with the loss of starters Dallis Dillard and Garvin Clarke. The Crimson Hawks are 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the PSAC, but are coming off a 65-48 loss to East Stroudsburg. Bryce Radford and Josh Petteno were plugged into the starting lineup at East Stroud on Saturday. Shepherd comes into tonight’s game at 5-5 overall, 2-3 in the PSAC. They beat Mercyhurst, 61-57 on Saturday.
Jack Benedict and Tony Coccagna have the games tonight on 92.5 FM U92, with the women’s pregame airing at 5:15.
