A Derry Township family is displaced after fire destroyed a home early Saturday morning.
WTAE-TV reports that the home of Sherri and Mike Bolish was destroyed by fire, with Mike suffering burns to his back, an arm and his corneas, along with cuts from going through a window to get out of the house. Both Sherri and their 17-year-old son were not hurt.
No word yet on how the fire started, but this marks the second time in the last three months that the Bolish family is facing tragedy as last month, the Bolish family’s daughter Marissa was killed in a vehicle crash in August. Many of her belongings were still in the house when the fire started.
A GoFundMe page has been started to help the family.
