The Center Township Supervisors held their reorganization and regular meeting Monday night.
Matt Housholder was named the chairman of the board, while Paul Colgan was named Vice Chairman, and Jim Bence was sworn in as the newest member of the board.
During the regular meeting, the board approved a bid of $9,050 from Allison Park Contractors to remove the temporary bridge as part of the Long Bridge project. Housholder said the temporary bridge was important, as it saved motorists in the area a lot of headaches.
These same contractors that will perform the bridge project, which will be done over a week’s time in April.
