The heavy rain that came through Indiana County yesterday triggered three pumping detail calls.
The first was reported at midnight Sunday morning as Coal Run firefighters were dispatched to a location on McIntyre Road in Young Township. The next calls for pumping would happen Sunday evening as crews were called out at 8:47 PM for pumping details on Grandview Avenue in White Township and Washington Street in Indiana Borough. Indiana Fire Association was dispatched for both of those calls.
Emergency crews were busy with other calls on Sunday, with Homer City Fire Department and Citizens’ Ambulance dispatched to Route 119 South in Center Township for a vehicle accident. State Police were called also called to the scene at 7:57 PM.
A structure fire was reported in Northern Cambria at 9:06 PM, and Cambria County emergency officials called Clymer, Cherry Tree and Commodore firefighters in to assist on-scene.
And a vehicle accident was reported at 11:22 PM on Route 56 East in Brush Valley Township. Brush Valley Fire Department and Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched at the time. There were no reported injuries in that crash.
