The final day of 2023 was a relatively quiet one for Indiana County’s first responders.
An automatic fire alarm activation summoned Armagh firefighters into Westmoreland County at 2:37 in the morning on Sunday.
At 6:04 AM, a vehicle accident was reported on Route 56 East in Brush Valley Township. Brush Valley firefighters, state police and Citizens Ambulance were dispatched at the time. Details on the crash have not been released.
And the Rossiter Volunteer Department joined the Big Run fire department from Jefferson County for an automatic fire alarm activation at 11:12 AM along Lockvale Road in Banks Township.
