United’s Ben Tomb struck out his 100th and 101st batters of the season, an all-time Heritage Conference record. He is No. 1 in the state in strikeouts. At 12-4, United matches the 2001 conference champion Lions for team wins. Bradley Felix picked up his first win on five innings of pitching, with Hunter Cameron and Tomb in relief. Caden McCully had three hits for the Lions, Joe Marino had two hits and three RBI and Wade Plowman had two hits.
Marion Center 7, Homer Center 2
The Stingers broke a 2-2 tie in the 6th with a run on a bases-loaded walk to Dakota Bracken, then scored four more runs in the 7th. Aidan Cattau hit a home run and eight Stingers had hits. Michael Krejocic homered for Homer Center. Ty Ryen got the win in relief for Marion Center, giving up no runs or hits over three innings, striking out six with no walks
