State troopers have accused an Indiana man of animal cruelty.
Police say on September 29th, Benjamin Miller was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend and her step-father when he grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed his dog numerous times. The dog later died at a veterinary hospital in Butler.
Miller was taken into custody and is currently in Indiana County Jail pending a preliminary hearing, which has been scheduled for January 14th.
