If you bought a Mega Millions ticket yesterday and didn’t win, you’re not alone. No one else hit the jackpot either.
The winning numbers drawn last night were 3-45-49-61-69 with a mega ball of 9, and no one had all the winning numbers on their ticket. That means the jackpot rolls over once again to an estimated $868 million annuity or a cash option of $494 million. The new total will be the highest jackpot in the multi-state lottery game’s history, surpassing a $656 million prize that was won in March of 2012 by three people.
The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was won was back on July 24th, when an office pool in California split the jackpot of $543 million eleven ways.
If you didn’t win last night, remember that the Powerball jackpot is also at high levels, as it is at a $345 million estimated annuity. The Powerball drawing is tonight.
