An Armstrong County man who pleaded guilty in a stabbing and was sentenced to probation in Indiana County Court last month is missing and considered endangered in Clarion County.

20-year-old Colt Snyder of Dayton was last seen by his family leaving their home on Friday afternoon at 4:30. His vehicle was found at about 11:22 PM that night. abandoned with the engine running on the Emlenton Bridge on Interstate 80 in Richland Township, Clarion County. That bridge is the highest road bridge in Pennsylvania, 270 feet above the Allegheny River.
State Police and emergency crews searched the area the last two days but have not found Snyder. They’ve asked for anyone who has information on him to contact them in Clarion.
In January, Snyder pleaded guilty to simple assault and recklessly endangering another person for the stabbing, which occurred during a fight last August in the 800 block of Wayne Avenue in Indiana. The victim, a 23-year-old man, survived. Snyder was sentenced to concurrent terms of one and two years of probation, with a directive to attend mental health and anger management evaluations.
