A Pittsburgh man escaped injury Thursday afternoon in a crash on Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township. Pennsylvania State Police say 56-year-old Edmund Zak was driving too fast for conditions when his compact SUV hit a wet patch near the East Philadelphia Street exit to Armagh, causing him to skid into an embankment.
State police report a burglary in Cherryhill Township in which nothing was taken, but the damage was substantial. It happened between 5 PM April 11th and 8 AM the next day along Route 580 at the home of a 71-year-old Clymer man. Police say the victim ended up with a repair bill of more than $900 to a window which was the entry point of the burglar.
