Police reports include a woman charged for endangering the welfare of children, a case of public drunkenness, and a stolen item.
State police say a 24-year-old Cherry Tree woman is facing charges of endangering the welfare of children for having drug paraphernalia inside her home along Route 580 in Green Township. Police went to the home on September 16th. They say it involves three juveniles living there and they also found unsanitary living conditions. The woman has not been publicly identified.
Indiana Borough Police report an incident of public drunkenness Saturday night. Police were dispatched at 10:18 to a location at 1460 School Street for a report of an intoxicated male who had passed out. The male was identified as 20-year-old Kurt Ernest Lefever of Coudersport. Lefever was arrested for public drunkenness and underage drinking and was lodged at the Indiana County Jail to sober up.
A thief stole a chainsaw from an address along Route 56 in Young Township. It happened between September 16th and 17th at the home of a 55-year-old woman. The 14-inch Stihl chainsaw had been left at the bottom of the woman’s driveway.
