Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk says the specialist’s report on the injured wrist of third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes is very encouraging, with no damage after Hayes re-aggravated the injury last week.
Tomczyk also said starter Chad Kuhl is playing catch again after landing on the 10-day injured list last week with a sore shoulder, and reliever Michael Feliz threw live batting practice yesterday as he works his way back from a cracked fingernail on his throwing hand.
The Pirates have announced that they will remain at 25 percent of capacity at PNC Park throughout the month of May.
