State police have charged an Indiana man with disorderly conduct after a false alarm Thursday morning at a home on Maple Street.
State Troopers and Citizens Ambulance sped through Indiana Borough after Indiana County 911 received a report of a man who was possibly shot. Troopers say that 65-year-old Roy Niemann Jr. of Indiana had pressed an alarm inside his home and told the operators at the alarm company that he had been shot and was locked in his bathroom. When police arrived, they found Niemann in his bedroom and was not shot or injured in any way. He was also found in a highly intoxicated state.
