A man from Nu Mine is charged with shooting at four people Sunday night.
Pennsylvania State Police say that 51-year-old Joseph Stockdill, Jr. allegedly fired shots from a handgun at a vehicle in the 1000 block of 4th Street in Nu Mine around 7:00 PM. The vehicle he shot at had three females, ages 50, 27 and three, along with a seven-year-old boy inside it. After shooting at the car, Stockdill barricaded himself inside the home. After several hours, police took Stockdill into custody.
Stockdill faces 10 counts of aggravated assault, five counts of simple assault, four counts of terroistic threats and reckless endangerment, two counts of resisting arrest, and single counts of prohibited possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property, obstructing an officer, fleeing to avoid apprehension and harassment. He was arraigned on Monday and is now in Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $500,000 cash bail. His preliminary hearing is set for 1:00 PM on May 4th.
