Pennsylvania’s all-state girls’ basketball team was released on Monday, and two Heritage Conference girls were named to the 2A team.
Senior Maizee Fry of United and senior Kassidy Smith of Penns Manor were named to the third team, as voted by sportswriters in the state.
Fry scored 17.5 points and pulled in 10.5 rebounds per game for the Lions and helped lead them to a 17-5 record. The 18-7 Comets, who defeated the Lions in the District 6 2A championship, were led by Smith, who scored 15.8 points per game.
