The multi-state lottery game’s jackpot is now at $685 million, with an estimated cash value of $344.7 million, and tonight is the next drawing. The jackpot has not been hit since October 11th, when it was a $1.765 billion prize. This marks the fourth time this year that the Powerball jackpot has gone over the half-billion dollar mark.
While the big prize was not won, five tickets across the nation matched all five regular numbers, resulting in $1 million wins.
By the way, the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot, that is to match all five regular numbers and the Powerball, is 1 in about 291 million.
