No one was hurt in a crash Christmas Day in Cherryhill Township. State police were called to the area near Hood School Road and Allen Bride Road shortly after 2:30 AM for a one-vehicle crash. Troopers say an unnamed woman struck a speed limit sign before coming to rest in the middle of a nearby field. Damage was reported to the front end of her car, and the woman said she suffered no injuries. Troopers add she was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
The woman’s car had to be towed from the scene. She was cited for two summary traffic violations.

State police are investigating an incident of retail theft that happened October 6 in Saltsburg.
Troopers say they responded to the Par Mar store along Washington Street shortly before 9 PM after the manager said a former employee took food and merchandise valued at $551.77 while employed there.
The investigation is ongoing.
