The Pirates and Tigers will square off in a day-night doubleheader today.
Yesterday’s game was postponed due to inclement weather in Detroit, so both teams return to Comerica Park for two seven-inning games.
Southpaw Tyler Anderson is scheduled to start the first game for the Pirates while Michael Fulmer toes the rubber for the Tigers. Both were scheduled to pitch yesterday.
Anderson enters the day with a 1-2 record and a 4.02 ERA in 15.2 innings pitched this season. Fulmer last pitched on April 14, where he gave up two runs in five innings to the Houston Astros.
Airtime on WCCS 101.1 FM and AM 1160 is 1:45 p.m. for game one and 6:15 p.m. for game two.
