SOFTBALL:

United forced Blacklick Valley to commit seven errors on defense while holding them to one hit on offense to take a commanding 15-3 win on the road.
Abigail McConville went 3-for-3 on offense with a home run and a double while Mackenzie Ragan collected a pair of doubles.

BASEBALL:
UNITED – 19, BLACKLICK VALLEY – 0
United took advantage of a Blacklick Valley Vikings team, that was depleted due to COVID-19 issues, and beat them, 19-0, in 3 innings.
Ben Tomb gave up one hit and struck out seven in three innings pitched. Every hitter in the United lineup tallied a hit, including Aiden Strong, who led the Lions’ offense with three hits and five RBIs. Bradley Felix drove in four runs with a pair of hits, and four United hitters – Tomb, Hunter Cameron, Caden McCully and Joe Marino – had two hits each.
United will take a 5-2 record into a conference matchup against Homer-Center on Thursday. They are currently tied with West Shamokin, Marion Center, and Saltsburg for first place in the Heritage Conference, all teams have two conference losses.
HOMER-CENTER – 3, WEST SHAMOKIN – 0
The Wildcats were led by Michael Krejocic’s three-hit performance to top the West Shamokin Wolves on Monday.
Krejocic went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and Andrew Ruddock tallied an RBI on a 1-for-3 offensive performance. Anthony Rowland earned a complete-game shutout after allowing just five hits and striking out two.
For the Wolves, Bo Swartz collected two hits and a walk. Ezeck Ollinger struck out six hitters in three innings pitched.
Homer-Center improves to 3-4, while West Shamokin moves to 3-2.
MARION CENTER – 11, PURCHASE LINE – 1
The Stingers were fueled by Marcus Badzek and Gaven Palko on offense en route to an 11-1 win over the Red Dragons on Monday.
Badzek’s only hit was a two-run home run while Palko went 1-for-1 with a triple and two RBIs. Both would also tally a walk. Dakota Bracken struck out eight hitters in five innings pitched. He would allow one hit and one unearned run in the game.
Levi Kephart led Purchase Line on offense, going 1-for-1 with a double and an RBI.
The Red Dragons fall to 1-5 while the Stingers improve to 5-2.
LACROSSE:
Indiana Varsity Girls Lacrosse took its 4th straight conference game after defeating Aquinas Academy, 16-13.
Gracie Agnello led the team with seven goals; Kennedi Kunkle had four and Giana Brody contributed two. Taylor and Kyla Weaver, along with Kate Lehman, added one each.
Ground ball control was led by Giovanna Spadafora, who finished with five, while Cameron Albert and Giana Brody each had three.
Within the net, Anna Butterbaugh had eight saves.
Indiana plays Knoch on Friday at Kuzneski Field in a non-conference game.
