Tree limb collection is set for next week in Indiana borough.
Indiana Borough Public Works Director Dave Fairman said that limb collection in the borough gets underway next Tuesday, and will run for one week. The schedule will start Tuesday with collection in the fourth ward, then Wednesday in the first ward, Thursday in the second ward and Friday in the third ward. Essentially, it is one day after the normal garbage collection.
Limbs should be placed by the curb where you would normally place your trash, and be no bigger than six inches in diameter. Fairman also said that normal garden refuse will not be accepted.
Fairman added that he doesn’t know when leaf collection will start as that’s up in the air, as the leaves haven’t started turning color or started falling.
Leaf collection traditionally follows the same schedule as limb collection.
