Police in Indiana Borough are reminding residents to lock up their vehicles after multiple thefts were reported over the last 36 hours.
In a post on the department’s Facebook page, officials say that they have investigated nine vehicle break-ins that have been happening on the west side of town, including one on North 11th Street, one on School Street and one on Nixon Avenue. It’s not known at this time if the same person is committing these thefts.
Police say that along with making sure that the car is locked, people should make sure their valuables are secured, and any suspicious activity should be reported to the Indiana Borough Police. Their non-emergency line is 724-349-2121.
