Cutch is back with the Bucs.
The Pirates have come to agreement with outfielder/designated hitter Andrew McCutchen on a one-year, $5 million contract. The team did not officially announce the deal but posted a video showing McCutchen walking the hallways at PNC Park.
The 37-year-old five-time All-Star returned to Pittsburgh last season after five years away and hit .256 with 19 doubles, 12 home runs, and 43 RBIs before his season ended with a partially torn Achilles tendon suffered while legging out a double on September 4th. His next home run will be the 300th of his career.
