The United Way of Indiana County has announced a special dinner engagement that will honor an Indiana County man for his philanthropic efforts and it will feature a former Pittsburgh Steeler who will tell his story of tragedy and recovery.
The non-profit will hold “An Evening of Hope with Ryan Shazier” on January 27th at the Indiana Country Club starting at 6:00 PM with a VIP reception to begin at 5:30. The event will be emceed by WTAE personality Mike Clark and Shazier will be the featured speaker as he tells his story of overcoming life-altering spinal surgery, going from paralysis to being able to walk again. Also during the event, owner of Colonial Motor Mart, Colonial Toyota and Mark Arbuckle Nissan CJ Spadafora will be honored for his work in support of the United Way and other organizations.
