Twenty-seven new cases of lab-confirmed flu put Indiana County’s count for the season at 90 in the latest state data, and the rate of new flu cases is still increasing. It was up 22 the week before. RSV cases were up nine to 62 following an increase of twelve in the previous week.
Across the commonwealth, there have been 13,516 cases of lab-confirmed flu and 20,120 RSV cases. The number of deaths from flu in Pennsylvania rose last week from ten to thirteen for the season, which began October 1st.
