Depending on what gas station you normally use, the cost of a gallon of gas has either held steady or gone down.
According to GasBuddy.com, Gas prices in Indiana County on average are at $3.03 a gallon. The most expensive gallon of gas in Indiana Borough-White Township area, with is at the Sheetz station at the intersection of 4th and Philadelphia, with prices at $3.09. Most of the other gas stations have gas prices at $2.99 a gallon, with the exception of the Sunoco station on Oakland Avenue, where gas prices were recorded at $3.03 a gallon.
Surrounding areas are seeing significantly higher costs, with Homer City gas prices around $3.12 a gallon and Blairsville gas prices are the same as Homer City, at $3.12.
Meanwhile, the average cost of gas across the state is now at $3.04 a gallon, which is a decrease of 1.5 cents from last week.
