The Steelers returned another key linebacker this morning, as they announced that they have resigned Vince Williams on a one-year deal.
Williams was released following the 2020 season in an effort to save room on the salary cap. He finished last season with 70 combined tackles, three sacks, 14 tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries.
The Steelers also brought back quarterback Josh Dobbs on a one-year deal. Dobbs rejoins Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins Jr. on the team’s quarterback platoon. His agent, Mike McCartney, confirmed the signing on Wednesday.
Dobbs was waived by Jacksonville last season and rejoined the Steelers in September.
