POLICE REPORTS: SHOPLIFTING, GUN THEFT

State police are continuing to investigate a shoplifting incident at the Burrell Township Walmart on April 1^st.  Troopers say that the theft happened around 3:14 PM.  It is believed that two unidentified women made off with over $1,139 worth of electronic merchandise.  The two got away in a 2018 Hyundai.

State Police are investigating a burglary that happened between February 1^st and April 2^nd in Cherry Tree.  Police had estimated about 40 firearms were stolen from a home along Griesmore Road during that time.  Now with updated information from the three victims, they now say 34 firearms were stolen, along with ammunition, $26,000 in cash, reloading supplies, a knife collection and a gold ring.
