Last night, the S&T Bank parking lot was full with music and pizza as many spectators turned out for the 2nd annual “Best Slice of Indiana” event.
Eleven restaurants submitted their best pizzas for people to sample, and people got the chance to vote for the best pizza in town. The people voted Grubs Sports Bar as the best pizza in town, while a panel of five celebrity judges chose Venice Pizza as their favorite.
Todd Bryce of S&T Bank talked about the event’s success, with close to 600 people attending the event. No word yet on how much money was raised.
The real winner was the Power Pack program for ICCAP, which helps nearly 800 children across 12 elementary schools in Indiana County by providing them with food for the weekend in their backpacks.
