State officials are reminding the public that the deadline for open enrollment through Pennsylvania’s health and dental marketplace is coming up this Friday.
December 15th is the last day to enroll in health coverage through the state’s Pennie marketplace that will start on January 1st of next year. During open enrollment, individuals can apply, shop, and enroll in coverage from insurance companies with financial savings. Plans and prices change every year, so Pennsylvanians who need coverage are encouraged to review their options. Currently, nine out of 10 enrollees qualify and save over $500 a month on average.
