The Steelers got to watch the NFL action yesterday, and they couldn’t have been encouraged. AFC North rivals Baltimore, Cleveland, and Cincinnati all won. The Ravens lead the division at 10-3, the Browns are 8-5 and the Steelers and Bengals are each 7-6.
As bad as all of that sounds, the Steelers still hold onto the second of three AFC Wild Card slots, behind the Browns, but ahead of this Saturday’s opponent, the Indianapolis Colts. Four other teams are currently just outside the playoff picture…the Texans, Broncos, Bengals, and Bills are all 7-6, just like the Steelers and Colts.
