Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi has hired former Western Carolina offensive coordinator Kade Bell as his new offensive coordinator. The 30-year-old led the Catamounts offense to a record-setting year, leading the conference in eight statistical categories, and led all of FCS in total offense, averaging more than 500 yards per game. Western Carolina finished 7-4 this year.
More good news for Narduzzi: Linebacker Brandon George and defensive end Nate Temple both have pulled their names off the transfer portal and will remain at Pitt, and Nebraska cornerback Tamon Lynum announced that he is transferring to Pitt. He’ll have two years of eligibility remaining.
