Expect congestion and delays on Route 422 east of Indiana today as flagger-controlled lane restrictions begin for a resurfacing project stretching from Cherryhill Township to Pine Township. The flaggers will be at work starting at 9 AM, and the restrictions will remain in place until the end of September between North Harmony Road and Route 403.
PennDOT says the work will involve milling, patching, and paving, plus drainage and guiderail upgrades. Drivers should be prepared to stop and should allow extra time for their commute.
The $4.5 million resurfacing project is expected to be completed in November.
