Indiana Mall has announced a new store going into a part of one of their former anchor stores.
Zamias Services, Inc., the leasing and management company of the mall, announced in a media release today that Harbor Freight Tools will take over a portion of the former Sears location in the Mall. Mall manager Sherry Renosky said that it replaces a major department of Sears, the Automotive and Hardware area.
Harbor Freight, founded in 1977, is a discount tool retailer based out of Calabasas, California. The stores regularly stock over 7000 items in a wide range of categories, including automotive, air and power tools, shop equipment and hand tools.
Harbor Freight will take over the automotive area of the Sears complex, along with a little bit more of the store. Renosky said plans are in the works for the other part of the Sears location, and for the former Kmart location, where Spirit Halloween has set up a seasonal store.
