State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding someone who stole a car from the Eat ‘n’ Park parking lot back in June.
Troopers say at 5:00 AM on June 3rd, the thief approached a 21-year-old Blairsville woman on a mountain bike in the parking lot of Eat ‘n’ Park. The woman, an employee of the restaurant, just got off her shift, and was in her car when the thief ordered her out. The suspect put his bike in the trunk, got in and drove away, going East on Indian Springs Road towards Wayne Avenue.
Police describe the thief as a black man in his late 30’s, about six-feet-two-inches tall with a medium build and was unshaven. He was wearing a dark coat, dark pants, and a gray t-Shirt around his face. The car was a 2002 blue-green Pontiac Grand Am. Shortly after the robbery, the suspect was found at the BP Gas station in Saltsburg Borough. The vehicle was recovered Rankin Borough, Allegheny County.
