IUP has been honored once again by the Wall Street Journal as one of the top universities in the nation.
The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College 2019 Rankings place IUP in the top twenty percent of all institutions in America for “engagement”, and has ranked IUP highly as well in its “environment” category.
The Journal’s rankings consider four categories: resources, engagement, outcomes, and environment. The school’s performance in each category is based on university-reported data and student surveys. The engagement category includes a measurement of student engagement, student recommendations, student interaction and breadth of opportunities for involvement. The environment category includes the number of international students, student diversity, faculty diversity and student inclusion.
IUP has also been included in the Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” guidebook for almost two decades, has been ranked as a “socially responsible school” by Washington Monthly and has been ranked highly by publications including Military Times as a “Best for Vets” university.
