INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole items from a downtown convenience store. Police say they were called out around 10:27 PM last night to the Sheetz at the intersection of 4th and Philadelphia Streets, as it was reported that a man stole items from the store. The thief got away before police arrived. He is described as a white man, about 5 feet five inches tall with sandy brown hair, and was seen wearing a bright yellow shirt and cargo pants. A woman is accused of DUI after she paid a visit to the State Police barracks in Indiana for a different reason. State Police say on Friday, at 5:00, the woman showed up at the state police barracks in her car, reporting an argument with her boyfriend who she lives with. Police thought she was intoxicated and was subsequently placed into custody. She was taken to IRMC for a chemical test.
DUI Charges are pending lab results after a man was found passed out in his car early Saturday morning. State Police say the man was found on Route 119 South in Center Township, and police said he was intoxicated by unknown means. He was taken to IRMC by ambulance and was submitted for chemical testing.
