IUP Athletics announced on Wednesday that junior Paige Mikesell and sophomore Shaun Fedor are the Athletes of the Month for March.
Mikesell earned the honors after capturing the 200-yard freestyle national title, while also posting two second place finishes at the 2021 NCAA Division-II Championships. She also finished with seveon All-American honors and set five school records.
Fedor led the team with a 75.33 average in six rounds through March, leaving him as IUP’s top golfer. He recently finished tied for 11th place at The Trojan in North Carolina, finishing 3-over 219, and he opened the season with a fifth place finish at the Cherokee Valley Invitational.
