Starting tomorrow, Indiana County’s road construction season kicks into gear as the “Cunningham Culverts” replacement project resumes on Route 422 in Armstrong Township.
Two small bridges will be removed, with one to be replaced by a dual-cell box culvert and the other with a concrete pipe. PennDOT has constructed a temporary road near Cunningham Road to maintain traffic in both directions, but speed limits will be reduced and a temporary width restriction of eleven feet will be in effect for oversized loads.
The construction zone will be from Trim Tree Road to Lions Health Camp Road.
