In PSAC baseball action on Saturday, Seton Hill completed the four-game sweep against IUP on Saturday, besting them by scores of 7-1 and 14-0.
Nick Hess and Harrison Pontoli each recorded two hits for the Crimson Hawks in game one, while Hess also tallied IUP’s lone run with a home run in the sixth. Tyler Diefenbach gave up four runs in 4.1 innings pitched.
In game two, the Griffins scored 7 of their 14 total runs in the first and second innings, while limiting IUP to three hits. Those three hits came off the bats of Austin Mueller, who went 2-3 with a double, and Jake Cherry.
IUP is 1-11 on the season and looks to snap its losing streak on Friday against Cal U.
