Gabe Nettleton had the hat trick and Nick Caretti and Joey Mains scored their first goals of the season as Indiana put together a four-goal second period and topped visiting Erie McDowell, 5-1, on Renda Digital TV. Nettleton scored the first Indiana goal in the first period, and the final two Indiana goals in the second. Garrett Goodrich and Ash Lockard each had three assists on the night and Jackson Albert and Landin Wilson also had assists. Jayden Learn turned aside 24 of 25 McDowell shots on goal.
The win lifted Indiana to a 7-1-1 record in the Varsity A Gold Division, 8-3-2 overall, with their 16 points on the season placing them in second place, two points behind Quaker Valley. The Indians are back on home ice next week in a showdown with Quaker Valley.
