Marilyn Jo Snodgrass, 79, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, while at St. Andrews Village.
The daughter of Kenyon and Ruth Elizabeth (Cook) McCoy, she was born October 22, 1944, in Pittsburgh PA.
Marilyn was a member of the Grace Methodist Church whose interests included writing poetry. Marilyn also enjoyed playing the flute, organ, and piano, along with singing and playing in the church choir and orchestra. She had published a book entitled Peace “Through the Storm”. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Robert, whom she had wed November 29, 1968; children, Beth McCreary and Amy (Gary) Whaley; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Emily (Johnathan) Miller and Ann (Jack) Depner; brother-in-law William (Eileen) Snodgrass; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Marilyn in death were her parents; a brother, Wayne McCoy and son-in-law, Joseph McCreary.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel.
