State police have ruled a shooting that happened on Tuesday accidental.
Troopers were called out at 7:54 PM to a home in the 1000 block of Atwood Road in Washington Township for a report of someone suffering a gunshot wound in the leg. After the investigation, it was determined that the victim, a 21-year-old Creekside man, accidentally shot himself in the leg as he was disassembling his .22 caliber pistol.
He was then taken to the hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. No criminal activity is suspected.
