IRMC CLASSIC GIVES IUP A CHANCE TO MEASURE PROGRESS, PREPARE FOR PSAC

Off to a 1-2 start, IUP’s men’s basketball team looks to gain some momentum heading toward next week’s PSAC crossover games when it hosts the IRMC Classic tomorrow and Sunday at the KCAC.

After UPJ squares off with Frostburg State at 3 o’clock tomorrow, IUP plays St. Thomas Aquinas at 5.  Then on Sunday, again at 3 and 5, UPJ plays St. Thomas Aquinas and IUP battles Frostburg State.

IUP dropped out of the most recent Top 25 NABC Coaches Poll and is listed 20^th among those receiving votes.  St. Thomas Aquinas is listed just below IUP at 21^st.

Both of IUP’s IRMC Classic games are on 92.5 FM U92, airing at 4:45.
