Two Heritage Conference athletes announced their plans to play softball at the collegiate level.
West Shamokin’s Lily Jordan announced her commitment to play at Westminster College on Sunday. She hit .444 with six home runs and 27 RBI in 16 games last year with the Wolves.
And River Valley’s Tori Foust signed her NLI to play softball at Waynesburg University. She hit .233 with one home run and seven RBI in 15 games with the Panthers last season. Foust also finished second on the team in walks (7) and third in on-base percentage (.353).
One of her accomplishments was being named MaxPreps Athlete of the Week in 2022.
